Sex & the City Movie

Directed by Michael Patrick King the “Sex & the City” movie will open in cinemas nationwide on May 30 2008. The movie is about sex, life, money, love, passion, friendship and heartache.

Cinematical reports that events in the movie are unexpected and develop really fast.

Carrie is having a HUGE wedding. Big isn’t happy. Rather, scratch that — John James Preston. It looks like she gets stood up at the wedding — I’m thinking for the way they made Sarah Jessica Parker look. Carrie finds her personal assistant, who has a really tacky reason for being in the city. Steve proves he’s an ass — a perfect cherry to my “Down with Brady” campaign. Charlotte increases her family. Samantha’s eye wanders.

The New York Times quotes movie director King commenting on the cast of the movie and his expectations.

“I want the audience to leave the movie feeling feted and exhausted,” he said. “I don’t want it to just be cocktails or dessert. I want it to be a full meal.”

Styledash says it has seen the trailer and can’t wait to see the full version of the movie.

I just watched the extended version of the Sex and the City movie trailer and I just can’t tell if I am excited. I mean I want to be, sure, who doesn’t want to be excited about a new movie that is probably loaded with cool fashions? After giving Sex and the City six seasons of my life, not to mention hours of repeats at midnight on TBS — I feel like I have to go see this movie.

It is reported that the movie is about women for women. However, men can find something appealing for them as well.
