WALL-E Coming This June
What happens when Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios collaborate on a film? Well, hopefully, something very spectacular in terms of an animated film. Due to be released on 27 June, WALL-E, a computer animated science fiction film, will be the first to test the theory. It’s directed by Andrew Stanton and stars Fred Willard, Jeff Garlin and others such as Sigourney Weaver. The movie’s premise is quite simple: “what will happen if all people will leave the Earth and forget to turn off the last robot?”
The film is about a robot called WALL-E whose prior mission was to clean the Earth of garbage. WALL-E continues to do its job even though people have since left the planet, but he then meets another robot, EVE, who has been sent back to see if Earth ready again for human inhabitation. As you can already guess, WALL-E falls in love with EVE. According to QJ.NET THQ plans to make the WALL-E video game on all platforms which will be released on June 24th.
The game’s generally going to be based from the movie itself. In order to bring out that distinct movie-feel, production director Keith Pope said that they incorporated “big moments and small nuggets” from the film into the game. To enhance what the game has to offer, players can utilize both WALL-E and EVE. There will be times wherein the two have to work in tandem to solve the problems.
