If you are familiar with Clive Barker then you might know his book called Midnight Meat Train that was published in 1984. On May 16th, the movie version will be released. The movie is rated R for depicting strong, bloody and gruesome violence.

Directed by Japanese Ryuhei Kitamura, Midnight Meat Train stars Bradley Cooper, Leon Kauffman, Vinnie Jones, Leslie Bibb and Brooke Shields. Written by Jeff Buhler and Clive Barker, Midnight Meat Train is about a photographer who tries to hunt down a serial killer, personifying evil on earth, in the subway.

At first the photographer thinks that after one photo of the killer, everything will be finished, but when he discovers that more were killed he understands that he’s not dealing with a “standard” killer. Some of the most frightening horrors are directed by Japanese directors and the combination of Ryuhei Kitamura and Clive Barker should be terrifying to say the least.

As FirstShowing reports, it should be one of the best horror movies released this year.

This looks incredibly intense and terrifying and I’ve got a feeling this is going to be a sleeper hit, or at least a damn good film. All you need to know is it stars Vinnie Jones as a sick guy named “Mahogany” and Leslie Bibb, among a few others.
