Postal on May 23th

PostalIf you’ve ever played or heard about the game Postal, then you might think you know what to expect from the film that should open in the U.S. on May 23rd. The game caused controversy by depicting a postal worker who went insane and gave players the opportunity to massacre civilians.

Making the film likely to be surrounded by controversy as well, Postal is directed by Uwe Boll and stars Zack Ward, Dave Foley, Chris Coppola, Michael Benyaer and Jackie Tohn. However, while the game is deadly serious in its depiction of graphic violence, the movie is apparently a comedy which according to a lot of viewers is funny as hell.

POSTAL is insulting, irreverent, politically incorrect and funny as hell. POSTAL follows two days in the life of the Postal Dude, in the regrettably named town of Paradise. Just when he thinks he has hit rock bottom, things get worse. Sharing a trailer with his ever-expanding wife, Bitch, Dude is in a bad way. After a humiliating job interview and a nearly lethal trip to the welfare office, Dude finds himself on the doorstep of his Uncle Dave. Despite being the successful leader of the town cult, Dave is also finding himself in financial difficulties. Together, Dude and Dave hatch a plan to steal some valuable merchandise.

According to Akayuki, you might expect one of the best comedies of year.
