Angelina Jolie — Changeling in November

Pretty much every movie in which Angelina Jolie stars is popular with fans so Changeling is unlikely to be any different. The period/thriller film will release on November 7th.

Directed by by Clint Eastwood and written by J. Michael Straczynski it also stars John Malkovich, Geoff Pierson, Jeffrey Donovan, Jason Butler Harner, Colm Feore, Amy Ryan, and Michael Kelly.

Changeling is based on the real-life Wineville Chicken Murders in the late 1920s. The story revolves around a woman (Angelina Jolie) whose child is kidnapped. Eventually her son is found, but as soon as Jolie starts to return to normal daily life she starts to doubt if the returned boy is hers.

Wild About Movies reports what happens then.

Facing corrupt police and a skeptical public, she desperately hunts for answers, only to be confronted by a truth that will change her forever.

Here is what FESTIVAL CENTRAL reports about movie.

A thematic companion piece to “Mystic River” but more complex and far-reaching, “Changeling” impressively continues Clint Eastwood’s great run of ambitious late-career pictures. Emotionally powerful and stylistically sure-handed, this true story-inspired drama begins small with the disappearance of a young boy, only to gradually fan out to become a comprehensive critique of the entire power structure of Los Angeles, circa 1928. Graced by a top-notch performance from Angelina Jolie, the Universal release looks poised to do some serious business upon tentatively scheduled opening late in the year.

Currently there is no trailer available but in the video below you can see Angelina Jolie speaking about the movie and some fragments from it as well. Enjoy.
